ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Katie Lamparter, a 2D animator and illustrator located in Austin, TX.

I studied 2D animation at Austin Community College, and graduated with my Associate of Applied Science in the field. I am looking to begin working in the industry, and I'm excited to get to make use of my skills and meet others who enjoy creating as much as I do!

I've been drawing for about 11 years now, and I have a great interest in character art and design. I love the feeling that comes from bringing a character to life with animation, and enjoy taking the time to make it seem natural and to really bring forth a character's personality. I find a lot of my inspiration in music and nature, and in collaborating with other artists and trying new things.
